There’s nothing better on a summer’s morning than fresh, seasonal fruit. Add a nutritional punch of oats and tahini and you have yourself a satisfying start to the day!

Berry Mango Coconut Breakfast Smoothie

Vegan, Dairy Free, Refined Sugar Free, Nut Free

Makes 2.
Prep time: 5 minutes


Berry Layer Ingredients:

  • 1 1/3 cup frozen raspberries
  • ½ cup rolled oats*
  • 1½ cup milk of choice (try coconut or almond)
  • 1 tbsp rice malt syrup* (if raspberries are sour)

Mango layer ingredients:

  • 1 1/3 cup frozen/fresh mango cubed
  • 3 tbsp shredded coconut*
  • ¼ cup rolled oats*
  • 1½ cup milk of choice (try coconut or almond)
  • 1 tbsp tahini*
  • Pinch of turmeric* (optional – for colour)

  1. Blend all berry smoothie ingredients together until smooth.
  2. Pour berry smoothie into 2 mugs.
  3. Add mango smoothie ingredients to the same blender and blender until smooth.
  4. Pour mango smooth layer on top of berry layer.
