Nurturing Lemon Tea Tonic 

Help fight off the nasties with this invigorating fresh lemon juice tea tonic. Not only is it comforting and warming to sip on, it’s a great way to gently stimulate the immune system. 

What You’ll Need 

The juice and rind of 1 lemon

1 tablespoon of freshly grated ginger root 

1 teaspoon of turmeric 

1 tablespoon of raw honey 

1 1/2 cups of hot water 

A pinch of pepper (to enhance the anti-inflammatory effects of the turmeric) 

A pinch of salt & half a teaspoon of cinnamon if desired* 

Warm on the stove and serve in your favourite cup. Sip slowly and enjoy!
