These protein bars are the perfect pre-workout snack… and they might have you reaching for more

INGREDIENTS
Base
- 25 g coconut flour*
- 20 g vegan salted caramel protein
- 10 g peanut butter*
- 5 g natural sweetener (try stevia* or coconut sugar)
- 75 ml almond milk
Peanut Butter Layer
- 40 g peanut butter
- 10 g salted caramel protein powder
- 5 g coconut oil* melted
- 5 g natural sweetener (try Stevia or coconut sugar)
- Pinch of salt
Toppings
- 50 g dark chocolate* melted
- 10 g coconut oil* melted
METHOD

1. Combine base ingredients in a bowl until dough forms.

2. Press dough into silicon baking tray and freeze while making peanut butter layer.

3. Combine peanut butter layer ingredients in a bowl and spread over base layer. Freeze for one hour.

4. Remove bars from freezer and slice before combining topping ingredients and dipping bars into chocolate.

5. Optional: drizzle with peanut butter and crushed nuts.
