Quinoa Flake Porridge

A hot, cozy breakfast – plus a complete source of vegan protein and 100% gluten free! Perfect for switching things up if you’re feeling over oatmeal

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup organic rolled flaked quinoa*
- 1/2 tsp organic ground cinnamon*
- 1/2 cup plant based milk
- 1 cup water
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)
Toppings
- nut butter of choice*
- organic coconut flakes*
- organic maple syrup* (or honey)
- fruit of choice
METHOD

1. Add the cinnamon, quinoa flakes, milk and water to a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-10 minutes, until soft (unlike regular quinoa, quinoa flakes don’t take long at all to cook!)

2. Remove from the heat and stir through the protein powder.

3. Serve and top with all your favourites! My bowl has peanut butter, frozen blueberries, banana, coconut flakes & a little maple syrup and honey. Enjoy!!
