Wholesome Choc Nourish Bowl

Vegan, Dairy Free, Gluten Free, Refined Sugar Free

Makes 1 bowl. 
Prep time: overnight (soaking).
Cooking time: 20 minutes.

Ingredients

To Soak

  • 1 cup buckwheat hulls*
  • 2 cups plant milk
  • 4 tsp Vitality Dust* or Spark Dust*
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds/flaxseeds*
  • 1/2 cup dried fruit* (try currants or raisins) – optional

Topping Ideas

  • Grated apple with cinnamon*
  • Fresh figs with honey* & walnuts*
  • Poached pears with vanilla
  • Pomegranate jewels & pistachios*

    Method

    1. Combine all soaking ingredients in a bowl. Cover and soak overnight to allow the hulls and seeds to soften (room temperature is fine, but be sure to check if your choice of milk needs refrigeration).
    2. Once soaked, transfer to a saucepan and cook over low heat (stirring gently) for 15-20 mins or until thick and creamy. Add more milk or water if needed.
    3. Serve into a bowl and top with your choice of toppings.
