Why Vegan Granola Is crunchier and healthier Than Regular Granola

Looking for a tasty breakfast cereal that is healthy, vegan-friendly, and free of gluten? Life is busy enough to spend the morning googling for a healthy breakky. We thought we’d help out and explain how we have the healthiest granola version that stands out from the rest of the cereals that are high in sugar, contain gluten, are over-processed, and are not vegan-friendly!

What is vegan granola?

Granola is a cereal made from nuts and seeds, sometimes with fruit. It is common in paleo and is part of a high-fiber diet. Sounds pretty Vegan already, right? The trick is that granola is often sweetened with honey or other sticky-sweet substances, which may contain many carbohydrates, making it non-vegan and unhealthy. Honey has a high viscosity and works well as a binder. However, vegans avoid honey because it comes from bees—the extraction method may harm bees or destroy their habitat.

So, why Naked Foods Vegan granola is 100% vegan-friendly, organic, healthy, and gluten-free?

Instead of using honey, we use 100% organic coconut syrup as our binding ingredient. Coconut syrup is one of the best alternatives because its low glycemic index helps lower blood sugar levels. An excellent organic sugar alternative low in calories and best for vegan diets. We use only whole food, 100% gluten-free seeds, nuts, and flours that have been processed separately from all gluten sources.

What do we do to make vegan granola crunchier?

We take only the best mix of organic sunflower, pumpkin, cashews, macadamia nuts, chia seeds, and dried goji berries and slowly roast them for the crunchiest treat ever tasted. Our binding ingredients are organic coconut flour, coconut oil, and organic coconut syrup, making you feel full without worrying about high sugar levels.

Now that we know what vegan granola is and how to make it let’s see the best way to enjoy this healthy – high-energy food.
